Dimming That Feels Right
Every lighting system is a little different. Dimming calibration helps set the right brightness range for your Smart Lighting Controller.
Not all lamps are dimmable. For the best results, we also recommend using Rachio-approved Brilliance lamps.
Lamps, Fixtures & Controllers
In short, lamps are the light bulbs that go into lighting fixtures. Fixtures connect to the controller via low-voltage outdoor wire. Dig deeper below.
Lamps determine how bright your lights are, how much power they use, and whether or not they are dimmable. The LED Brilliance lamps sold on rachio.com are low-voltage and highly efficient. They are also compatible with dimming with the Rachio Smart Lighting Controller.
Fixtures are the housing for the lamps, providing power and directionality. Rachio Fixtures are high-quality, matte black, and fully adjustable.
Low-voltage outdoor wiring runs from a single controller to a zone of fixtures. Control multiple zones together as one device in the Rachio App.
